‘Talent Factory’ opens – VETTER invests in the future of its trainees.

On 18 July 2025, the Burbach-based forklift truck fork manufacturer VETTER Industrie GmbH celebrated the opening of its new training workshop. Called ‘Talentschmiede’, the company is making a strong commitment to the sustainable and future-oriented training of its young industrial talent.
The decision to set up the new training workshop was prompted by the company’s intention to carry out basic training in metal technology independently of external partners in future.

‘We considered various options, such as a joint training workshop with other companies or sending our trainees to other companies for basic training. Ultimately, we made a conscious decision to set up our own training workshop,’ explains Maximilian Vetter, assistant to the management. “This enables us to provide our trainees with theoretical knowledge and, above all, practical skills in-house, through exciting projects that give them an insight into our work processes right from the start.”

The project was approved in spring 2025, and renovation work has been ongoing ever since to ensure everything is ready in time for this year’s training programme. The official inauguration on 18 July marks an important milestone. Practical training units for industrial professions will begin in the new workshop in September.

‘Modern equipment is essential for future-oriented training,’ says Sebastian Schmitt, the commercial training manager. ‘The talent factory offers trainees a modern training workshop equipped with the latest technologies.’
The marketing team was also involved in creating a modern look.

‘It is an investment in the future – for our company and for the young people who are starting their careers with us,’ says Maximilian Vetter. ‘We are not only creating independence, but also real added value for our trainees. We are proud of that. A big thank you to the entire team who were involved in the planning, organisation and rapid implementation from start to finish.’
